Seventino Midnight Café is now Open! A cooking game where you hunt your ingredients. Come in and enjoy our dish of the day made with the freshest ingredients.
This game was made as part of the University of California, Santa Cruz's Senior Game Design Capstone Series. It was awarded the B-A-N-A-N-A-S Award at the 2021 UCSC Games Showcase.
I joined Seventino as a 2D Rigger and Animator and later became a UI Artist and Concept Artist. Creating animations and art assets was a continuous cycle of team feedback and iteration. All assets were created in Clip Studio Paint and were rigged and animated in Unity.
I illustrated, rigged, and animated the chef character in Unity 2D, and created the bean spitting animation for the coffee bean monster. It was a bit of a challenge figuring out how to morph the characters in the way that I wanted, but I'm happy with the result.
I was in charge of concepting the knife weapon for our game. The team wanted a chef's knife that had elements of nature imbued in the design. I'm really proud of all of the iterations that I came up with, and I had a lot of fun thinking of new ways to draw a knife.
Created concept art for the knife used in the game Seventino Midnight Café. The idea is that the team needed a chef's knife that could be used as a weapon against monsters.
I was in charge of concepting and illustrating the final UI art for some of the UI elements in the game. I incorporated elements of the cat-eared barista and thought about how I could match the cutte and cozy vibes.

I was in charge of illustrating cameos of characters from other UCSC Senior Capstone games. I worked with Ixel, the art lead, to concept and create the final illustrations that would appear in game.
